The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has launched a new digital facility called “Passbook Lite” for its members. This feature makes it easier and faster to check PF details. Members can also download Annexure K (PF transfer certificate) on their own. This will help speed up PF transfers when changing jobs.
EPFO’s new ‘Passbook Lite’
EPFO has launched a new service called Passbook Lite. It is now very easy to see your PF details. You don’t need to log in again and again or follow long steps. Just visit the member portal and check:
- How much money is in your PF account
- How much you have withdrawn
- Your current balance
You can also download Annexure K yourself. Earlier, this document was shared only between PF offices. Now you can get it in PDF format from the portal. This makes PF transfers fast and simple.
Easy PF Transfer Check
When you change jobs, your PF moves from the old account to the new one. Now, you can check online if the transfer is done and if your service period is added to the new company’s record. This will also help later in pension (EPS) matters. All details are online, safe, and easy to use.
