Hrithik Roshan–Jr NTR’s War 2 Sets OTT Release – If you are also among those who could not watch Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR and Kiara Advani’s film ‘War 2’ in theaters, then there is good news for you. This film is now going to be released on OTT soon.
‘War 2’ was released in theaters on 14 August. This film was a sequel to the 2019 superhit film ‘War’, in which Hrithik was paired with Tiger Shroff. But, ‘War 2’ could not do much wonders at the box office and it got a tough competition from Rajinikanth’s film ‘Coolie’.
Why did ‘War 2’ lag behind at the box office?
Made on a big budget of Rs 400 crore, ‘War 2’ earned only Rs 237 crore in India and Rs 365 crore worldwide. Because of this it was considered a flop. At the same time, no official date has been revealed regarding the OTT release of the film, but it is expected that it will be seen on Netflix between September 25 and October 9.
Story of ‘War 2‘
The story of the film revolves around Hrithik’s character Kabir, who is a former RAW agent and is being searched by the Government of India. Junior NTR plays the role of Major Vikram, who has been assigned the task of stopping Kabir. Both of them also have a sad past.

At the same time, Ashutosh Rana plays the role of Colonel Luthra and Kiara Advani plays the role of his daughter Kavya, who had a relationship with Kabir 15 years ago. Anil Kapoor has also entered this YRF Spy Universe film as a new RAW agent Vikrant Kaul.
