The Revenue and Land Reforms Department has taken a big step to solve the problems related to land in Bihar. For the convenience of the people, preparations are now underway to set up additional camps at the Panchayat level. If you are facing any problem in applying online or related to Jamabandi, then now you will get the solution in your Panchayat itself. The department has decided to ensure that the problem of every raiyat (farmer or landowner) is resolved before 20 September 2025.

There will be 5 employees in the camp

To make this scheme successful, the department has held a review meeting with all the Additional District Magistrates. In this, it was directed that at least five people should be appointed from CSC (Common Service Center) in every camp, so that there is no interruption in the application process. The camp in charge and other employees will be present every day from 10 am to 5 pm, so that the common people can get convenience.

Process completed, help received in land matters

This campaign is getting tremendous success. So far, 18 lakh 20 thousand 833 applications have been received. Out of these applications, more than 13 lakh 82 thousand are for correction in Jamabandi, while more than 2 lakh 50 thousand applications have come for making the missed Jamabandi online. Apart from this, more than 1 lakh applications have been received for inheritance mutation (inheritance change), and more than 87 thousand applications for partition mutation (partition). This figure shows that people have expressed confidence in this campaign.

Four services are being improved

Department Secretary Jai Singh said that four major services are being improved under this campaign:

Error correction in Jamabandi

Making the missed Jamabandi online

Inheritance mutation

Partition mutation

He also clarified that if a person is unable to apply in these camps for any reason, then he can apply online on the Biharbhumi portal even after September 20. Parimarjan Plus Portal and Dakhal-Kharij Portal will always remain open for these services.

The Revenue Department has appealed to all the citizens to take full advantage of this opportunity and get their land-related problems resolved on time. These camps, organized at the Panchayat level, will not only make the process easier but will also increase people’s trust in the administration.
