Kia Cars: Kia has announced major price reductions across its ICE line-up after the government revised GST on cars. The cuts, effective from September 22, aim to boost competitiveness and attract more buyers.
Kia Sonet
The Kia Sonet, a popular compact SUV, now gets a price reduction of up to Rs. 1,64,471. The model, currently priced between Rs. 7,99,900 and Rs. 15,63,900 (ex-showroom Delhi), has been one of Kia’s top performers in India.
Kia Syros
The Kia Syros, known for its bold design, will see a bigger reduction of up to Rs. 1,86,003. Prices now range from Rs. 9,49,900 to Rs. 17,79,900 (ex-showroom Delhi). In July, sales numbers were modest, but with the revised pricing, Kia expects improved traction in this segment.
Kia Seltos
The Kia Seltos, approaching the end of its current lifecycle, will get a maximum reduction of Rs. 75,372. The SUV, priced between Rs. 11,18,900 and Rs. 20,55,900 (ex-showroom Delhi), remains an important player in Kia’s portfolio. Kia has already begun testing the next-generation model, expected in 2026.
Kia Carens and Carens Clavis
The Kia Carens will now be cheaper by up to Rs. 48,513, making the MPV more appealing for families. The facelifted Kia Carens Clavis will also benefit, with reductions going up to Rs. 78,674. Current prices stand between Rs. 11,49,900 and Rs. 21,49,900 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Kia Carnival
The Kia Carnival gets the biggest cut in the line-up, with a reduction of Rs. 4,48,542. Imported as a CBU, this premium minivan is now priced from Rs. 63,91,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). The Carnival remains an option for buyers looking for luxury and comfort.

No Change for EV Models
The Kia EV6 and Carens Clavis EV will not receive any reduction. Since GST on BEVs stays at 5%, their prices remain unchanged. The EV6 continues to be priced at Rs. 65,96,638, while the Carens Clavis EV starts at Rs. 17,99,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
