The Madhya Pradesh government has made a big announcement for laborers. Like the Ladli Behna Yojana, a new Labor Incentive Scheme will be started. Under this scheme, the government will give Rs 5,000 every month to laborers. Recently, in a program in Gwalior, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav shared information about the scheme. He also posted about it on his social media account. Under this scheme, a worker can get direct financial help up to Rs 60,000 a year from the government.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said the purpose of this scheme is not only to give help but also to provide social security and financial strength to laborers. Laborers are the backbone of the state, and the government is always working to give them a respectable life. The Labor Incentive Scheme will increase workers’ income and also give them employment incentives.
Ladli Sisters to Get More Benefits
Ladli sisters will also get benefits from this scheme. Right now, under the Ladli Bahana Yojana, women get Rs 1,500 every month while staying at home. But if a woman works in an industry, the government will give her Rs 5,000 per month. CM Mohan Yadav said that if an industrialist gives a woman a salary of Rs 8,000, then with Rs 5,000 from the government, she will get a total of Rs 13,000. This will help women become self-reliant and encourage them to take jobs.
Many labor schemes are already running in Madhya Pradesh. The main one is the Chief Minister Jankalyan (Sambal 2.0) Scheme, which gives education incentives and help in case of accident, death, or disability to unorganized workers. There is also the Labor Grant Scheme, which provides transport facilities.
Now, with the new Labor Incentive Scheme, workers will get direct cash benefits. This will improve their life and create more job opportunities.
