School Closed: – The rain continues in Delhi-NCR. Due to the rain, there is devastation in many states. Due to heavy rains, a decision has been issued to keep schools closed in many states on September 3, 2025. Intermittent rain continues in Delhi-NCR. Keeping in mind the waterlogging and dangerous situation, school holidays have been declared in many states. However, the order to close schools in some places may be for local schools.
Due to continuous heavy rains, life in Greater Noida has been affected. On the instructions of District Magistrate Medha Rupam, District Basic Education Officer (DBEO) Rahul Panwar issued a holiday in all schools of the district, from nursery to class 12, on Wednesday.
This order will be applicable in all four blocks of the district and will apply to schools of all boards, including council, government, aided, CBSE, ICSE, and schools affiliated with other boards.
All schools in many districts of UP will remain closed on September 3, 2025.
In which states will schools be closed on 3 September?
According to reports, it has been decided to keep schools closed in many states due to heavy rains. Holiday orders have also been issued in Delhi-NCR districts like Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddh Nagar (Noida). Schools will also remain closed in Meerut.
School Closed In punjab & Jammu and Kashmir
Instructions have been issued to close schools in Punjab due to heavy rains. Apart from this, the board in Jammu and Kashmir has postponed the 10th and 11th examinations (dates of 3 September). The new date will be announced later.
School Closed In Ghaziabad
In view of the continuous rain in Ghaziabad, the District Magistrate has issued instructions to keep all government and private schools from class nursery to class 12 closed on 3 September.
School Closed In Gautam Buddha Nagar:
All the board schools operating in Gautam Buddha Nagar district will remain closed on September 3 due to heavy rains. Basic Education Officer Rahul Panwar said that on the instructions of District Magistrate Medha Rupam, orders have been issued to declare holiday in view of the rain.
