If, for some reason,n people missed filing income tax returns, then for them, the government has fixed the last date for late filing as 30 September 2025. Customers can easily file returns by this date. For this, you will have to pay late fees and interest. This change will happen on the Aadhaar card.
UIDAI has fixed the last date for updating the Aadhaar card as 14 September 2025. If the Aadhaar card is not updated by this date, then the fee will have to be paid later. If the name, address and mobile number in the Aadhaar card are wrong, then they can be corrected.
Opportunity to join UPS
The government has also given the option to the employees to change from NPS to UPS. The last date for this work has been fixed as 30 September 2025. If you are planning to choose the new pension, then you will have to fill out the form by this date.
New rule on silver, too
From today, i.e. September 1, a new rule will be applicable for those who buy silver. Customers will have options. They can buy hallmarked silver if they want, or they can also take non-hallmarked silver. BIS has decided to start a hallmarking facility for silver jewellery. This rule is not mandatory for everyone. Meaning it will be as per the wish of the customer.
Commercial gas cylinder prices have been reduced.
The prices of commercial gas cylinders have come down. The price of a gas cylinder has been reduced by Rs 51. Its rates have also been implemented.
