For this, the department has provided two methods: one online and the other, by going directly to the office. Through online medium, people can update their new number sitting at home, while this work can also be done easily by going to the office.

Let us tell you that the concerned officer Manoj Kumar Singh said that with time the mobile numbers of many people change, due to which important information of the department like fines, renewal date of documents, license related information, or vehicle related information does not reach the old number. This not only causes trouble to the vehicle owners, but sometimes legal problems also arise.
He also told that the department wants that the correct and active mobile number of every vehicle owner and license holder should be linked with their driving license and vehicle registration. This special campaign is being run for this purpose.
