New Delhi: Preparations for the Bihar assembly elections are going on in full swing. Along with political parties, the Election Commission is also busy with its preparations. Elections are likely to be held in October and November, which has created a stir in the political camps. The dilemma over seat sharing among the political parties between the NDA and the Mahagathbandhan has not been resolved yet.

Chirag Paswan and Jitan Ram Manjhi, who are part of the NDA, are also demanding more seats. In such a situation, smooth seat sharing seems to be a tough task. Will the BJP and JDU contest on equal seats?

According to information received from sources, how many seats will go to the BJP and JDU’s account out of 243 seats in the Bihar assembly elections? If some political experts are to be believed, both parties can contest on equal seats. There is some speculation that the figure could be 100-105. A senior NDA leader said that JDU will not contest on less seats than the BJP at any cost.

JDU’s performance in the last assembly elections was not very good. It became the third-largest party by winning only 43 seats. The big reason behind this was said to be Chirag Paswan’s party contesting on those seats that were given to JDU by the DA. Then LJP fielded candidates on 115 seats and won only one, but work was done to harm JDU on more than 30 seats.

Chirag Paswan’s demand will create problems.

The picture of NDA has changed a lot this time, because Lok Janshakti Party is also with it. They are still demanding to remain a part of NDA and contest elections under the leadership of Nitish Kumar. Not only this, Tejashwi’s demand for 40 seats has increased the tension between the BJP and JDU.
