Indian Railways is continuously increasing the number of Vande Bharat Express trains to give a high-speed and luxury experience to the passengers. So far, more than 66 pairs of Vande Bharat trains have been started across the country. Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off 10 new Vande Bharat trains, many of which have been connected to cities of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and South India. These trains allow passengers to travel at the same speed as Rajdhani and Shatabdi and are equipped with modern facilities like AC chair car and executive chair car.

Delhi-Varanasi Vande Bharat Express is the fastest train, with an average speed of 96.37 km per hour. Vande Bharat has been extended on many routes, like Ahmedabad-Jamnagar to Dwarka and Gorakhpur-Lucknow to Prayagraj. Tickets for these trains can be easily booked on the IRCTC website. Vande Bharat Express is a big step towards the modernization of Indian Railways.

10 new Vande Bharat Express trains launched on 12 March
On March 12, Indian Railways launched 10 new Vande Bharat Express trains simultaneously. These include many major routes, including Prayagraj-Gorakhpur, Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam, Patna-Lucknow, Puri-Visakhapatnam, Ranchi-Varanasi, and Khajuraho-Delhi Nizamuddin.
Uttar Pradesh gets 3 new Vande Bharat trains
This time, the passengers of UP got the gift of three new Vande Bharat. Lucknow-Gorakhpur was extended to Prayagraj, while a new Vande Bharat was also flagged off on Lucknow-Dehradun and Patna-Lucknow routes.
Which routes were extended
Vande Bharat has been extended further on many routes. Ahmedabad-Jamnagar train will now go till Dwarka. Ajmer-Delhi Sarai Rohilla has been extended to Chandigarh, Gorakhpur-Lucknow to Prayagraj, and Thiruvananthapuram-Kasaragod to Mangaluru.

The country’s first and fastest Vande Bharat Express runs between Delhi and Varanasi. It completes the 771 km journey in just 8 hours and has an average speed of 96.37 km per hour. It has an AC chair car and an executive chair car.

Vande Bharat Express tickets can be easily booked on the official website of IRCTC. Passengers can select the train by entering the date and place of travel. After this, after filling in the seat and details, the ticket gets confirmed by online payment.
