Renault Kiger: Renault has introduced the 2025 Kiger in India with an appealing price of ₹6.29 lakh (ex-showroom). The new SUV is equipped with fresh features, new design elements, and additional safety upgrades. The new SUV is priced higher than its predecessor but appears more premium and competitive in the sub-4 meter SUV category.

Variants and Price

The 2025 Kiger is available in four trims. The entry-level Authentic model starts at ₹6.29 lakh, and the Evolution trim is available for ₹7.09 lakh. The Techno variant is priced at ₹8.90 lakh, and the top-of-the-line Emotion variant is priced at ₹9.14 lakh (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).

For buyers considering turbo power, the Techno CVT variant begins at ₹9.99 lakh, with the top end at ₹11.29 lakh. Renault has assured that these prices are applicable under introductory offers until the festive period.

Design and Color Updates

The fresh Kiger has understated yet evident design updates. There is a redesigned front bumper with LED headlamps and LED fog lamps. The sides get new 16-inch alloy wheels that give the car a sporty edge. At the back, there are minor styling changes, but the showstopper is the new Oasis Yellow color that sets the SUV apart.

Features and Cabin Upgrades

The interior of the 2025 Kiger is more upscale with a new dashboard and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that comes with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. Renault has included ventilated front seats, which differentiate the Kiger from the competition in its class as this feature is not present in the Nissan Magnite.

Other features in the line-up are a multi-view camera, automatic headlamps, and rain-sensing wipers. The car also receives a new Noir and Cool Grey interior theme, which adds to the overall ambiance.

Safety Features

Safety has been propelled big time in the new Kiger. Six airbags are now made available standard on all variants. In addition to this, 21 sophisticated safety features are provided, including hill-hold assist and a tyre pressure monitoring system. These enhancements solidify its position in compact SUVs that emphasize passenger protection.

Engine and Performance

The 2025 Kiger goes on with two engine options. The 1.0L naturally aspirated petrol engine delivers 71bhp and 96Nm, in conjunction with 5-speed manual or AMT. The 1.0L turbo-petrol engine delivers 98bhp and 160Nm, with 5-speed manual and CVT. A CNG variant is also offered with the non-turbo unit, but only with a 5-speed manual transmission.
