PM Internship Scheme: The Government of India had announced the PM Internship Scheme during Budget 2024-25. This scheme is operated by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, two phases of which have been completed. The Pradhan Mantri Internship Scheme is an initiative of the Government of India, which aims to provide youth with an opportunity to train in the top 500 companies of the country. This will give the youth practical work experience, which will strengthen their skill development and employment prospects.

During the internship, each intern will get a stipend of Rs 5,000 per month. Out of this, Rs 500 will be deposited by the company and Rs 4,500 by the government directly into the intern’s bank account. Apart from this, a lump sum amount of Rs 6,000 will also be provided at the time of joining.

Who can apply

Candidates who have completed 10th, 12th, ITI, Polytechnic or Diploma can apply.

Those youth who are new graduates from any institute can also join it.

Candidates having ITI degree can apply. They must have Matriculation (10th) along with trade certificate.

Candidates having 12th pass with diploma from AICTE recognized institute can apply.

Bachelor degree holders, who have a graduation degree from a university recognized by UGC/AICTE, can apply.

The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 24 years. However, candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category will get age relaxation.
