The Sai government has announced to increase dearness allowance. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has announced to increase dearness allowance (DA) by two percent for the officers and employees of the state.
With the increase of 2 percent, now the government employees of Chhattisgarh will start getting 55 percent dearness allowance equal to the Center. More than three and a quarter lakh employees of the state will benefit from the dearness allowance. CM Vishnudev Sai said that the employees of the Government of India are getting 55 percent DA. In Chhattisgarh, 53 percent is being given.
In the coming time, Diwali and Prakash Parv are also coming. It has been announced that our officers and employees of Chhattisgarh will be given 55 percent dearness allowance equal to the Center. Let us tell you that earlier during the budget speech, Finance Minister OP Choudhary had announced to increase the dearness allowance by 3 percent. During the budget, the dearness allowance of the state government employees was increased by 3 percent to 53 percent, which has now been increased to 55 percent.
Let us tell you that currently central employees are getting 55 percent dearness allowance. However, from next month, the dearness allowance is going to increase even more. Even before the increase in dearness allowance of central employees, the state government has made the government employees happy by increasing DA to the same level as the center.
This decision of the state government will benefit 3.25 lakh employees. Finance experts believe that this step will not only increase the purchasing power of the employees but will also have a positive impact on the economy of the state. Let us tell you that during the previous Congress government, government employees had gone on strike for several days demanding increase in DA. Before the assembly elections, BJP had promised to give dearness allowance equal to the central government, which has now been fulfilled.
