Shramshree Scheme- Assembly elections are going to be held in West Bengal next year. In such a situation, political conflicts have also intensified in the state. Mamata Banerjee government has started a scheme for the rehabilitation of migrant laborers. Mamata Banerjee alleges that Bengalis are being attacked in a planned manner in BJP-ruled states. Apart from this, they are being forcibly driven away.

You will get 5 thousand rupees every month

Speaking to reporters at the state secretariat, Mamata Banerjee said under the ‘Shramshree’ scheme, migrant workers wishing to return to Bengal will be provided financial assistance of Rs 5,000 for 12 months or till they get employment. She alleged, “Around 22 lakh migrant labourers and their families are being harassed in other states, especially those with ‘double-engine’ governments. They are facing pre-planned attacks.”

The Chief Minister said, “The Cabinet has approved this scheme to rehabilitate the migrant labourers and help them restart their livelihood.” Let us tell you that state officials say that due to the alleged atrocities on Bengali labourers, Mamata Banerjee will not attend Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Kolkata program on August 22.

He said that Mamata Banerjee does not want to share the stage with any leader of the Center and BJP. The way Bengali laborers are being harassed in BJP-ruled states is highly condemnable. In fact, on August 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to inaugurate three metro projects in Kolkata. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had also written a letter to Mamata Banerjee and invited her to attend the program. There has been no response from Mamata Banerjee on this.
