PM Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana Portal- The central government has officially implemented the Pradhan Mantri Vikasit Bharat Rojgar Yojana (PMVBRY) from today. The aim of this scheme is to create more than 3.5 crore new jobs in the next 2 years. For this, the government has set a big budget of about Rs 1 lakh crore. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced this scheme in his 12th Independence Day speech from the Red Fort on August 15. Now the Ministry of Labor and Employment has also launched an online portal for the Pradhan Mantri Vikasit Bharat Rojgar Yojana.
Union Labor Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, this scheme is a historic step towards making India a developed India. This will not only provide employment to the youth but will also provide them employment safety and respect. The benefit of this scheme will be available on those jobs which will be created between 1 August 2025 and 31 July 2027. The scheme has two parts.
Part A: Benefits for Employees
This benefit will be available to those working for the first time.
Such employees will get the money together.
This amount will be equal to average one month basic pay + DA, maximum limit up to Rs 15,000.
This payment will be made in two installments.
To be eligible, the employee’s monthly salary should be less than Rs 1 lakh.
Part B: Benefits for Employers
Companies will be incentivized to create new jobs.
Every new employee will get assistance of up to Rs 3000 per month.
This assistance will continue for 2 years for the general area and for 4 years for the manufacturing sector.
what are the rules?
If the company has less than 50 employees, at least 2 new employees will have to be added.
If the company has 50 or more employees, at least 5 new employees must be added.
These new jobs must last for at least 6 months.
All institutions will be included
The ministry has clarified that this scheme will also be applicable to those institutions which are currently exempted from the EPF & MP Act, 1952. Such employers will have to regularly file Electronic Challan cum Return (ECR) and it will be mandatory to create UAN for all employees. For this, they can use the UMANG App.
