Bank of Baroda UPI– Good news for UPI users and Bank of Baroda customers. Bank of Baroda has launched International UPI service. With the new service, bank customers can send or receive money abroad. Bank of Baroda has added three new international services to its Unified Payments Interface ( UPI) app bob e Pay .

These services include UPI Global Acceptance, Foreign Inward Remittance and UPI Service for NRIs. Indian and NRI customers of Bank of Baroda will be able to make cross-border digital payments and money transfers in real time and in an easy way.

The bank’s executive director Sanjay Mudaliar said that UPI has changed the face of digital payments in India. Now we are providing its service globally through bob e Pay International.

1. UPI Global Acceptance

Now, Bank of Baroda customers will be able to make payments to international merchants by scanning QR code directly from bob e Pay app while travelling abroad. Payment will be made directly from Indian bank account. This facility is available in 8 countries. These countries include Mauritius, Singapore, UAE, USA, France, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan. The transaction amount will be shown in both international and Indian currency . Along with this, information about exchange rate and charges will also be available, so that transparency is maintained.

2. Foreign Inward Remittance only in Singapore

Now Bank of Baroda customers living in India will be able to receive 24×7 real-time money transfers from people in Singapore. Singapore residents can send money by simply entering the UPI ID/VPA of the recipient. The amount will be sent in Singapore Dollars ( SGD) and will be credited directly to the account in India in Indian Rupees ( INR) . This facility will be useful for purposes like financial assistance to family .

3. UPI Services for NRIs ​​

NRI customers of Bank of Baroda will now be able to send and receive money using UPI through the bob e Pay app . While traveling to India, they will be able to make merchant payments and peer-to-peer transfers by linking their NRE /NRO account to their domestic mobile number.

Transaction Limit

The daily and per transaction limit for all international UPI services is Rs 1 lakh, which is equal to the domestic UPI limit .

App availability​

bob e Pay app Bank of Baroda has more than 13 lakh registered users . It can be downloaded from Google Play Store and Apple App Store and international services can be activated by going to the settings.
