Mumbai ₹103.44 and diesel ₹89.97
Chennai ₹100.76 and diesel ₹92.35
Kolkata ₹104.95 and diesel ₹91.76
Why do prices change every morning
Petrol and diesel prices change every day at 6 am. This rule applies from 6 am onwards. Let us tell you that after adding excise duty, dealer commission, VAT (value added tax), and other things to the basic price of petrol and diesel, their price almost doubles. This is the reason why the prices of petrol and diesel appear so high. Government oil companies fix these prices every day on the basis of international crude oil prices and the foreign exchange rate.
