Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana (PMKSY)
Actually, PM Krishi Sinchai Yojana (PMKSY) was started in 2015-16. The objective of running the scheme is to increase the physical access of water to the fields, expand the cultivable area and improve water use efficiency.
Under this, sustainable water conservation techniques are also promoted. The government provides subsidies to farmers. This improves the irrigation facility, and by taking water conservation measures, the chances of drought in the year are reduced. Even resources are provided to the farmers to produce crops with less water.

55% to 90% subsidy on irrigation resources
The government is providing a subsidy on irrigation resources under the PM Krishi Sinchai Yojana. 55% to 90% subsidy is available for installing drip and sprinkler systems in the scheme. Farmers of all states are eligible for this scheme. The subsidy payable will be limited to a total of 5 hectares per beneficiary. However, for more information, you will have to contact the Agriculture Officer in the district, so that there will be no problem in getting the benefit.

If you are a farmer then want to apply for Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana (PMKSY), you can go to the Agriculture Officer’s Office of your block/district and get the application form of the scheme. Fill the application form carefully, paste your passport photo and attach the mandatory documents.
