Mukhyamantri Pratigya Yojana- Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is going to launch a great scheme for the youth of Bihar next month. The name of this welfare scheme is- Mukhyamantri Pratigya Yojana. This scheme has been started under 7 Nischay-2. With this scheme, the youth will not only get an opportunity to do internship in big companies, but the government will also give 4000 to 6000 rupees every month.
Not only this, if the candidate is selected in a company outside Bihar, then the government will give him 2000 rupees separately. Nitish Kumar’s cabinet recently approved this scheme. The purpose of this scheme is to develop advanced skills to the youth of the state, develop better employment potential, provide leadership development and career advancement opportunities. According to the information, the Labor Resources Department is currently engaged in preparing the list of companies and soon this list will be uploaded on the portal.
What did the CM say about the scheme?
Regarding this scheme, CM Nitish Kumar himself had told that under the ‘Mukhyamantri Pratigya Yojana’, one lakh youth will be given internship and skill training in various institutions from 2025-26 to 2030-31. Under the scheme, 12th pass youth will be given Rs 4000, ITI or Diploma pass youth will be given Rs 5000 and youth doing graduation or post graduation internship will be given Rs 6000 monthly assistance. The CM had said that the objective of this scheme is to make the youth of Bihar self-reliant, skilled and employment oriented. The government’s effort is to skill the youth under this scheme, so that the problem of unemployment in the state ends.
Who will get the benefit and how?
Under this scheme, 12th, ITI or graduation pass youth will be given an opportunity for internship. The category of stipend has been fixed during internship. 12th pass will get 4 thousand, ITI will get 5 thousand while graduate or post graduate youth will get 6000 rupees. The age limit has been fixed between 18 to 28 years. In this scheme, a provision of Rs 129 crore every year has been made for the next 5 years i.e. till 2031.
The application process for this scheme will be online. The Labor Resources Department is preparing a portal for this. Youth will be able to apply for internship through the portal. Applicants can apply by selecting the company according to their qualification and interest. Aadhar card, certificate of educational qualification, certificate of skill development program training, passport size photo, residence certificate and bank passbook will be required for application.
