Vivo V50e vs Vivo T4R: In today’s era, there is a fierce competition in the mid-range smartphone segment, and Vivo is not far behind. Two new names – Vivo V50e 5G and Vivo T4R 5G – have entered the market and both are trying to woo users on their own. But the question arises, which phone has the real power? Which phone will be better for you? Let’s know the whole story of this fun competition, in a very friendly and desi style.
Design & Style
Vivo has always been known for providing sleek and stylish design, and both these phones have maintained this tradition. Both Vivo V50e and T4R have the same premium feel. Both get a large 6.77-inch AMOLED display, and that too with quad-curved design. That is, flagship vibes start coming as soon as you hold it in your hand.
Their overall grip is also comfortable and weight distribution is good. Also, both phones have IP68/IP69 rating, which makes them well protected from water and dust. So for those who use the phone a little tough, this is a big deal.
Display & Visuals
Now let’s talk about their front part – the display. In both the phones, you get a big 6.77-inch AMOLED screen that comes with a 120Hz refresh rate. This means that whether you play games, scroll Instagram or watch YouTube – everything will look ultra smooth.
Both phones get a peak brightness of 1800 nits, which makes outdoor visibility very good. The screen looks clear even in bright sunlight – and this is what gives a premium feel.
Performance & Processor
Now talking about the actual performance, there is a slight difference here. Vivo T4R 5G has a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, which is a new and slightly more powerful chip. Be it gaming, multitasking or running heavy apps – the performance in T4R is a little more buttery smooth.
On the other hand, Vivo V50e 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. This is also a capable processor, and is perfect for daily usage. But for those who are hardcore gamers or those who do heavy usage, T4R becomes a better choice.
Camera Setup
Now coming to the part that is a favorite of many people – the camera!
The Vivo V50e takes a clear lead here. It gets a 50MP main sensor with OIS at the back and an 8MP ultrawide lens – which is great for group shots, nature shots and wide-angle photos.
And talking about selfies, Vivo V50e has a 50MP front camera with autofocus – meaning HD selfies every time. Edge detection works well in Portrait mode as well.
Now talking about Vivo T4R, it also has a 50MP main sensor at the back, but with it there is only a 2MP bokeh lens – which frankly is a little less useful. And there is a 32MP selfie camera in the front – decent but falls a little behind compared to V50e.
Features & Tech
Talking about features, in both the phones you get in-display fingerprint sensor, 5G support, and Android based smooth interface. The UI of both is quite clean and there is no problem in day-to-day use.
Except for the camera and charging speed, tech-wise both seem similar.
Battery & Charging
In terms of battery, both the phones are great. Vivo T4R has a 5700mAh battery and Vivo V50e has a 5600mAh battery. That is, the endurance is almost equal, but the twist is in charging.
Vivo V50e comes with 90W FlashCharge support – and this makes it a game changer. It can charge more than half the battery in just a few minutes, and the entire phone gets fully charged very quickly.
On the other hand, the T4R has 44W charging support – which may seem a bit outdated in this price range. The battery is big, but charging time will be more.
Price & Variants
The starting price of Vivo V50e 5G in India is around ₹28,999, which seems to be a justified amount considering its camera and fast charging.
On the other hand, the Vivo T4R 5G is priced at around ₹19,499 – which makes it a good deal for budget users.
