Mahindra SUV: Mahindra has made a powerful statement in the SUV segment again, recording nearly 50,000 SUV sales in July 2025 alone. This performance registers a 20 per cent increase over the corresponding month last year, underlining the rising popularity of Mahindra’s utility vehicles in India. With robust product movement and heightened production levels, Mahindra is still consolidating its position as a major SUV maker.

Strong Performance Across Segments

Mahindra’s overall vehicle sales were 83,691 units in July 2025. Both domestic and export sales across all segments have been accounted for and represent a 26 per cent year-on-year growth. The utility segment was the strongest, with 49,871 units sold within the country. With exports included, the count of SUV vehicles is 50,835 units. Some of the models that contributed to this boom include the XUV 3XO Revx and the new Pack Two variants under the series of BE 6 and XEV 9E.

July Sales

Mahindra’s three-wheeler segment witnessed one of the steepest jumps, with July sales clocking 9,475 units compared to only 3,593 in July 2024. This represents a steep 164 per cent increase, benefiting from growing demand for electric three-wheelers. These are now operated under Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited, which deals with both electric and traditional variants. Three-wheeler sales so far this year have totaled 30,034 units.

Market Trends

Mahindra’s domestic commercial vehicle sales for July were 21,571 units. The sub-2-tonne LCV segment declined by nine per cent with 2,763 units sold. Mid-range LCVs of 2 to 3.5 tonnes grew robustly by 12 per cent, at 17,701 units. Larger LCVs and MHCVs over 3.5 tonnes reported a strong increase of 20 per cent from July last year.
