Honorarium Hike– Good news for everyone. Before the assembly elections in Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has opened the treasury for the public. CM Nitish is making many populist announcements one after the other. Many decisions like free electricity, women reservation, government recruitment and formation of youth commission are being discussed continuously in Bihar. Now CM Nitish Kumar has also given a big gift to Asha and Mamta workers in Bihar. The government has decided to increase their honorarium.

What did CM Nitish Kumar say?

Nitish Kumar said- “Since the formation of the government in November 2005, we have worked extensively to improve health services. Asha and Mamta workers have played an important role in improving health services in rural areas. Keeping this in mind and honoring the important contribution of Asha and Mamta workers in strengthening health services in rural areas, it has been decided to increase their honorarium.

How much amount will be received?

CM Nitish has informed that Asha workers in the state will now be given an incentive of Rs 3,000 instead of Rs 1,000. Also, Mamta workers will be given an incentive of Rs 600 instead of Rs 300 per delivery, this will further boost their morale and health services in rural areas will be strengthened.”

When are the elections in Bihar?

All political parties have geared up for the assembly elections in Bihar and have started preparations. The Election Commission may soon announce the date of assembly elections in Bihar. Bihar assembly elections are likely to be held in the coming October-November. These elections will be held for a total of 243 seats and 122 seats will be required for majority.

This time the contest in the election is between the NDA alliance of BJP, JDU, LJP (Ram Vilas), Jitan Ram Manjhi and Upendra Kushwaha’s party and the grand alliance of RJD, Congress and some other parties. Apart from this, Prashant Kishore’s Jan Suraj and Owaisi’s AIMIM are also in the election fray.
