Renault Duster (New-Gen)
Renault is going to launch the new generation of its popular SUV Duster in the Indian market by 2026. This vehicle has already been launched in countries like South Africa and Turkey. The India version is likely to be given a 1.3 liter turbo petrol engine. Also, the brand’s new CMF-B platform can also be seen in it. Through this, a 1.6 liter petrol strong hybrid version can also be launched.
Tata Sierra
Tata Motors showcased the Tata Sierra at the India Mobility Global Expo 2025. Now it is expected that this vehicle will be launched by the festive season. It can be seen with the 1.5 liter petrol and diesel engine of Tata Nexon, or there is also a possibility of giving the 2.0 liter engine of Harrier. The company is also going to bring its electric version to the market, which will come with futuristic design and long range.
Maruti Suzuki Escudo
Maruti’s Escudo will be a new SUV, which the company will place between Brezza and Grand Vitara in its lineup. It will get a 1.5 liter petrol engine, which will give a power of about 101 hp. Also, a CNG version can also come which will have a power of 86 hp. A strong hybrid version will also come, in which the total power is likely to be up to 113 hp.
Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara
Maruti has confirmed the launch date of the e-Vitara. This electric SUV will be launched in India on September 3. It will have two battery options – 49 kWh and 61 kWh. The version with the smaller battery will give a WLTP range of 346 km, while the version with the larger battery will come with a range of around 428 km. Its design will be modern and front grille style.
Renault Boreal
Renault Boreal is another upcoming SUV, which the company has recently showcased. It will also be launched in India by 2026. It will be built on the CMF-B platform and will be powered by a 1.3 liter turbocharged petrol engine. Its flex-fuel version will also be available in some markets, which will generate around 160 bhp of power and 270 Nm of torque.
Nissan C-SUV
Nissan had shown a glimpse of its new SUV quite a while ago. It will be a C-segment SUV which will be based on the CMF-B platform – the same platform on which the new Duster and Boreal are being prepared. After launch, this SUV will compete with vehicles like Hyundai Creta, Grand Vitara, Skoda Kushaq. Petrol and hybrid engine options can also be seen in this.
Hyundai Venue Facelift
The facelift version of Hyundai’s sub-compact SUV Venue is also going to come. Test mules have been seen on the roads of India. This new model will have design and interior updates, but the engine options are likely to remain the same as before – 1.2 liter petrol, 1.0 liter turbo petrol and 1.5 liter diesel. This vehicle will come with a sportier look than before.
