Infinix Hot 60i vs Hot 60 Pro Plus Processor

Infinix Hot 60i packs a MediaTek Helio G81 Ultimate processor coupled with an octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz. It has 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, expandable through a specific memory card slot. The configuration should be good enough for normal use and light gaming.

On the contrary, Hot 60 Pro Plus is decidedly more robust with its MediaTek Helio G200 processor and 2.2GHz octa-core CPU. It comes with 8GB RAM, twice that of the Hot 60i. It does not have a memory card slot, though, so you’re limited to 128GB internal storage. If you use several apps or games, the Pro Plus is in a better position.

Display and Battery Comparison

Hot 60i boasts a 6.7-inch IPS display with a 720×1600 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Although the resolution is not the most defined, it still provides smooth graphics and a punch-hole screen. Gorilla Glass includes a protection layer.

Hot 60 Pro Plus, on the other hand, has a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a crisper 1224×2720 resolution and a silky-smooth 144Hz refresh rate. The Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection is a bonus feature that makes it more desirable to media enthusiasts. Both phones have the same 5160mAh battery and 45W fast charging. The Pro Plus also has 10W reverse charging, which is a tiny advantage.

Infinix Hot 60i vs Hot 60 Pro Plus Camera

The camera setup at the back is the same on both devices, with a 50MP primary camera that is capable of recording QHD videos at 30fps. But the front camera on Pro Plus is marginally superior with 13MP, in contrast to 8MP on Hot 60i. For selfies and video calling, Pro Plus gives a better developed outcome.

Price of These Phones

Hot 60i should cost around ₹10,999, which is one of the cheaper phones in the line. Hot 60 Pro Plus, however, should come at a price of ₹19,990. You’re paying almost twice as much, though, for a better screen, quicker processor, and additional RAM.

Conclusion

As the phones are not yet officially released, it is better to wait. Hot 60i might be a good choice if you’re price-conscious and require bare essentials. But if you’re someone who prioritizes display, RAM, and performance overall, the Hot 60 Pro Plus might just be worth the additional expenditure.
