Hyundai Venue Facelift: The market for compact SUVs in India is increasing exponentially, and the auto makers are putting their focus on this sector. Hyundai and Kia are getting ready to launch three new compact SUVs, including one electric variant, next year. These SUVs will cater to families seeking trendy looks, top-shelf features, and strong performance at an affordable price.
Hyundai Venue Facelift
Hyundai is set to introduce the new generation Venue on the festival season. The SUV has been seen testing on Indian roads multiple times. Extreme updates are being anticipated in its design, with modifications in the front and rear profiles and new alloy wheels.
Inside, the Venue facelift could offer premium features like a Level-2 ADAS safety system and a panoramic sunroof. These are intended to enhance the Venue’s competitiveness in the compact SUV market. None is likely, though, in the engine or powertrain options.
Hyundai Compact EV
Hyundai is also putting its weight behind electric mobility and is gearing up with a new compact electric SUV for India, which is due to launch in 2026. This electric SUV could be derived from the global Inster Electric platform.
Reports suggest the vehicle will offer an impressive driving range of more than 450 km on a single charge. After its launch, it will directly compete with Tata Punch EV and Mahindra XUV 3XO electric versions. This launch shows Hyundai’s clear strategy to enter the growing EV market in India.
Kia Syros EV
Kia recently introduced its Syros ICE model, and the company is now developing the electric variant of the Syros. The zero-emission SUV may be available next year, with a driving range of about 400–450 km on a single charge.
Kia has already made a name with cars such as Carens and EV6, and the Syros EV will further enhance its positioning in the Indian EV space. The Syros EV, to be electric, will marry green performance with contemporary style and intelligent features, and thus offer a compelling proposition to buyers inclined towards electric driving.
Why These Models Are Important
The Indian compact SUV segment has turned out to be one of the most competitive segments for automobiles. Due to growing fuel prices and heightened demand for feature-loaded and affordable SUVs, both Hyundai and Kia look to corner more market share.
These three new models—Hyundai Venue facelift, Hyundai Compact EV, and Kia Syros EV—are likely to provide robust performance, futuristic features, and value for money, and thus are much-awaited launches for 2026.
