A new report says that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be cheaper than Apple’s first foldable iPhone. The iPhone Fold may start at CNY 15,999, or around Rs 1,93,100, based on information posted on the Chinese social media site Weibo. At the same time, Samsung’s foldable phone, which launched this year, has a starting price of CNY 13,999, or about Rs 1,69,000.
There are three storage options available for the iPhone Fold: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. The 512GB model prices CNY 17,999, or about Rs 2.17 lakh, while the 1TB model prices CNY 19,999, or about Rs 2.41 lakh. The most expensive model of Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 prices CNY 17,499, or around Rs 2.11 lakh.
Phone with foldable, crease-free screen
The story says that the inside screen of Apple’s first foldable iPhone will be crease-free, meaning that its creases will not show at all when the screen is folded. The screen for Apple’s foldable phone will also be produced by Samsung. A recent story claims that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, which is scheduled for release next year, would likewise include an inside screen free of creases. The operating system for the iPhone Fold will be iOS 27. The A20 Bionic chipset, which operates on 2nm technology, may be included.
