Tata Harrier EV: Tata Harrier EV is making a big splash with electric SUV buyers who don’t want to sacrifice power or usability. It rocks with bold design, thrilling features, and real-world range for daily and long trips. If you’re in the market for a high-performance electric SUV with everyday usability, this may be the one to watch.

Driving Performance

Tata Harrier EV QWD produces a whopping 396 bhp and 504 Nm of torque via a double-motor configuration. It’s rapid  accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds. This SUV is fast but stable, particularly on highways, due to its aerodynamic design and all-wheel-drive. It cruises comfortably at high speeds and remains stable, even through sharp maneuvers.

Battery & Real Range

Harrier EV is equipped with a 75 kWh battery with an ARAI certified range of 622 km. In real-life mixed driving conditions, however, the actual range lies in the 414–436 km range — sufficient for intercity journeys and several days of daily usage. During highway-oriented drives, the efficiency was on the order of 5.81 km/kWh. For most buyers, a daily city range of 400–450 km is convenient and dependable.

Fast Charging Reality

Charging is quick too — 20 to 80 percent in 25 minutes with a 120 kW DC fast charger. It’s perfect for long road trips and speedy top-ups. Whether driving in town or out on a trip, the Harrier EV doesn’t keep you waiting too long at the pump.

Design Highlights

The Harrier EV retains its robust SUV design but with EV-themed styling nuances. A real plus is the frunk (front trunk), which provides 35L of additional storage in the AWD variant. It’s the sole EV in its segment with all-wheel-drive, presenting it with an advantage for customers who desire performance with functionality.

Room for Improvement

Nothing is perfect. The brakes feel soggy and do not have enough bite. Touchscreen lags such as some software bugs and others were noticed — these might get resolved via OTA updates. Mild body roll also happens during extreme cornering owing to the height and weight of the SUV. Maintenance of EVs may still remain tricky in smaller cities.

Variants & Pricing

Harrier EV is priced at ₹21.49 lakh for the starting Adventure 65 variant and rises to ₹29.74 lakh for the flagship Empowered QWD 75 Stealth. With its performance and features, pricing is competitive against competitors.
