When Will the 27th Installment of Ladli Behna Yojana Be Released?

This year, the festival of Rakshabandhan will be celebrated on 9th August. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav may give a Rakhi gift of ₹250 along with the 27th installment of the Ladli Behna Yojana a few days before the festival — likely between 1st August and 7th August. However, no official date has been announced yet.

Monthly Amount May Increase from Diwali

Currently, under this scheme, Ladli sisters receive ₹1250 every month. But the government has shown plans to increase this amount. CM Mohan Yadav recently said that the monthly assistance will be raised to ₹1500 from Diwali. This announcement was made during a state-level event in Nalwa village of Ujjain.

What Is Ladli Behna Yojana?

The Ladli Behna Yojana was started in May 2023 by the previous Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The scheme aims to provide financial support to married women aged between 21 and 60 years.

On 10th June 2023, the first installment of ₹1000 was sent to the accounts of the Ladli sisters. During Rakshabandhan 2023, this amount was increased to ₹1250. Since then, women have been receiving ₹1250 every month under this scheme.

Extra ₹5000 for Self-Employment

To help Ladli sisters become self-reliant, the government has launched another benefit. Women who want to work in readymade garment factories or similar units and register for it will get an additional ₹5000. This amount is separate from the monthly installment of the Ladli Behna Yojana.
