Mahindra XUV700: Mahindra is preparing to ruffle the SUV segment once more. If you’re looking to purchase a stylish and powerful 7-seater, this new model may catch your eye. Spotted recently in test form, it has hints of new styling and updates. Let’s take a look at what’s in store for this daring makeover.
2026 Mahindra XUV700
Mahindra is developing a new generation of its bestseller XUV700. Initially launched in August 2021, this 7-seat SUV is now poised to get a significant design and feature upgrade. Spied in road tests, the facelift model provides a fair idea of what’s in store.
Exterior Design Updates
Spy photos reveal that the new XUV700 will get new headlamps and revamped LED daytime running lights. The front design gets an updated look with a new bumper and aggressive front grille. Although the side profile doesn’t change much, Mahindra is set to introduce new alloy wheel designs. The SUV’s rear is still under wraps, but it is likely to have a full-width LED lightbar and a new rear bumper.
New Features Expected
The existing XUV700 already boasts a lengthy list of features. Nevertheless, Mahindra can take some of the updations from its Born Electric lineup. There’s likely to be a self-parking feature, digital buttons, and a premium Harman Kardon audio system supported by Dolby Atmos. The interior could also feature a new dashboard design like the XUV9. There’s likely to be a panoramic sunroof and 7 airbags on offer for added comfort and security.
Interior Upgrades
Though the entire interior is not revealed as of now, there are likely to be some changes. The new dashboard layout will probably provide a cleaner and more premium look. There could also be new technology additions, perhaps even an additional screen in higher trims. But that is not confirmed yet. What is for sure is that the XUV700 will still provide a comfortable and feature-rich experience.
Mahindra’s Bold Move in the 7-Seater Market
With refreshed faces, intelligent features, and powerful engines, the XUV700 facelift appears set to challenge competitors such as the Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus. Mahindra is obviously looking to offer a complete package of style, security, and performance in the 7-seater SUV segment.
