Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7: Samsung has launched its new foldable series – Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7 and for the first time Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE – in a special Unpacked Event on 9 July 2025. The sale of these phones is going to start from 25 July. This time Samsung has made tremendous improvements regarding design, camera and AI features, which are making it even more special for the users.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 display and design

The company has described the Z Fold 7 as the thinnest and lightest foldable phone ever. Its main display is an 8-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X panel with 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. At the same time, the cover screen is 6.5 inches which is now wider than before and comes in 21:9 ratio. Both displays have tremendous brightness and color quality, which will make watching videos and playing games a great experience.

Fold 7 has Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite processor which is built on 3nm technology. With this, 12GB of RAM and 256GB to 1TB storage options are available. Talking about the camera, there is a triple camera setup at the back which includes a 200MP main camera, 10MP 3x telephoto and 12MP ultra wide camera. A 10MP front camera has been provided for selfie. This phone also does video recording up to 8K.

The phone has a 4400mAh battery which supports 25W wired and 15W wireless charging. Also, it has Samsung’s new One UI 8 based Android 16 and the full package of Galaxy AI will be available which includes smart tools like Live Translate, Circle to Search.

Now let’s talk about the Galaxy Z Flip 7 which comes in a clamshell design. Its main display is 6.9 inches while a 4.1-inch FlexWindow has been given on the outside which has become bigger and more useful than before. This time the Exynos 2500 processor has been given which is better optimized for AI. The camera has a 50MP main and 12MP ultra-wide camera while there is a 10MP camera on the front. With 4300mAh battery and Android 16, this phone also supports Galaxy AI.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE

For the first time in the Flip series, Fan Edition i.e. Flip 7 FE has been introduced. This is for those who want to experience a foldable phone in a low budget. It has a 6.7-inch main display and a 3.4-inch cover display. The camera setup is the same as the Flip 7 – 50MP + 12MP rear and 10MP front camera. It has an Exynos 2400 chipset and a 4000mAh battery.

Samsung has started pre-booking for these three phones from July 9 and their sale will start from July 25, 2025. The price of Fold 7 starts at ₹1,74,999, while the starting price of Flip 7 is ₹1,09,999. Flip 7 FE has been launched at a starting price of ₹89,999.
