Google Pixel 10: Google has finally announced that their “Made by Google” hardware event is going to be held on 20 August 2025. Google Pixel 10 series is expected to be officially launched in this event. This event will be held in New York City, and fans and tech lovers have been waiting for this day for quite some time. Many reports are saying that the retail sale of Pixel 10 series can start around 28 August. Google Pixel 10a, which will be a slightly budget-friendly model, will be launched a little later, probably in the first half of 2026.

Google Pixel 10 Series Lineup

This time Google has planned to keep a lot of variety in its Pixel series. Apart from the standard Pixel 10, we will see the Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and a foldable version – the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. The Pixel 10 will be the basic flagship phone aimed at most users. The Pixel 10 Pro will come with more premium specs, and the XL version is for those who want a bigger display. For foldable lovers, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will become a new option.

Google Pixel 10 Display

All the phones in the Pixel 10 series are expected to use OLED displays. The Pixel 10 will feature a 6.3-inch flat OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Pixel 10 Pro will have a slightly high-end LTPO OLED panel, whose size can be between 6.3 or 6.7-inches and the brightness will peak up to 3000 nits. In Pixel 10 Pro XL, this brightness can be even higher – up to 4000 nits, and the screen size will be around 6.8-inch. All the screens will have sharper resolution – up to QHD+. In the foldable version, the cover display will be 6.4-inches and the internal foldable display can be quite big and immersive.

Google Pixel 10 Processor

This time Google has made a big change for the Tensor chipset. The Pixel 10 series will get the new Tensor G5 chipset, which is being manufactured by TSMC – meaning noticeable improvements will be seen in performance and heat control. This chipset will be a perfect match with Android 16, which will have Material 3 Expressive design and new AI-based features.

Google Pixel 10 RAM and Storage

The base model Pixel 10 is expected to have 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage. In Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL, this RAM can go up to 16GB, and storage can be expanded from 512GB to 1TB. These flagship specs are perfect for those who do multitasking and storage heavy work.

Google Pixel 10 Camera

Google is taking a very aggressive approach in the camera department this time. The Pixel 10 base model is also expected to have a triple camera setup – which could include a 50MP main sensor and a telephoto lens. The Pixel 10 Pro will have a 50MP wide lens, 48MP telephoto lens (5x optical zoom) and a 48MP ultra-wide lens. The front camera is also going to be powerful – up to 42MP or 48MP. 8K video recording can also be supported.

The Pixel 10 Pro XL camera specs will be similar to the Pro, just the screen and battery will be slightly bigger. The camera setup in the foldable version will be slightly like the Pixel Fold – but improvements are expected.

Google Pixel 10 Battery

Battery life is also going to be upgraded a lot. Pixel 10 will have a 4970mAh battery, up to 5200mAh in Pro and XL versions. Charging speed is also going to be upgraded – wired charging can go from 29W to 45W and wireless charging can be up to 15W or 30W. Reverse wireless charging will also be supported.

Google Pixel 10 Price

Pricing leaks are mostly based on the European market. Pixel 10 starting price could be around €899 (around ₹81,500 in India), Pixel 10 Pro starting price could be €1,099 (around ₹90,600 in India), Pixel 10 Pro XL starting price could be €1,299 for the base 256GB version (₹1,17,700 to ₹1,39,990 in India). Foldable version – Pixel 10 Pro Fold – could be priced at €1,899 (around ₹1,72,000).

Google Pixel 10 Overall Expectations

The Pixel 10 series looks quite promising – with Tensor G5 chipset, powerful camera upgrades, new features of Android 16, and long-term updates. Google will focus on AI-driven performance and durable design. If the foldable model comes with an IP68 rating, it will be a big game-changer move in the market. This launch will be perfect for people who want the pure Google experience in a modern flagship phone.
