There is big news for crores of farmers of the country, who are eagerly waiting for the 20th installment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Prime Minister Narendra Modi can release the next installment of ₹ 2,000 in July. Let us tell you that the installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi is released every four months, and the last 19th installment was released in February 2025. After this, the amount was to come in June, but this time it got delayed.

Media reports are claiming that the 20th installment of the PM-Kisan Yojana is expected to be released on July 18. However, this is not fully confirmed yet. According to reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi may press the button to directly transfer the 20th installment of ₹ 2,000 to the bank accounts of more than 9.8 crore farmers across the country during a public meeting in Motihari (East Champaran) on July 18.

How to update land records

First of all, go to the official website of PM Kisan https://pmkisan.gov.in.

Click on ‘State Transfer Request’ under ‘Kisan Corner’ on the homepage.

Enter your ‘Registration Number’ or ‘Aadhaar Number’.

Enter the Catch Code and click on ‘Get OTP’.

Enter the received OTP.

Upload ‘Proof of Agricultural Land’ (such as land records, Khasra/Khatauni, etc.) in your name.

Review the changes and submit the form online.

How to avail the benefits of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana

Keep these things in mind to ensure uninterrupted benefits of the scheme:

Keep your bank account linked to your Aadhaar card.

Check the status of Aadhaar seeding with the bank account.

Keep DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) active in the bank account linked to Aadhaar.

Complete your e-KYC (Electronic Know Your Customer) process.

Check the status of Aadhaar seeding under the ‘Know Your Status’ module on the PM Kisan portal.

How to check your name in the beneficiary list

To ensure that your name is in the beneficiary list, follow these steps:

Open the official website of PM Kisan https://pmkisan.gov.in.

Look at the map of India in the ‘Payment Success’ tab.

There will be a yellow tab called “Dashboard”. Click on it.

Fill in the complete details on the Village Dashboard tab.

Select the State, District, Sub-District, and Panchayat.

Click on the ‘Get Report’ button.

Check your name in the list of beneficiaries.
