Hyundai: Hyundai is gearing up for a big expansion of its Indian SUV lineup. From fashionable facelifts to new electric models, the company has enormous plans in store for the next two years. With petrol, hybrid, and EV variants on offer, Hyundai wants to drive its presence in each segment of the SUV market.

Hyundai Venue

The Hyundai Venue is due to receive a significant facelift in the near future. Although engine choices are expected to remain similar, the new version will have new design aspects and additional features. It is anticipated to provide a premium feel on the inside, appealing to consumers during the festive season.

7-Seater Premium SUV

Hyundai is developing a new three-row SUV. This vehicle will be positioned between the Alcazar and Tucson and feature a powerful hybrid powertrain. Production could be done at Hyundai’s Talegaon plant. It will provide customers with a bigger and cleaner SUV option.

Hyundai Bayon

Bayon is being inspired by the global variant, and this SUV is likely to share the platform of i20. The customers might be offered a petrol or diesel variant to purchase. The 1.2L petrol, 1.0L turbo, and 1.5L diesel powerplants might be included, providing both performance and value.

Hyundai Creta

The next-gen Creta is being developed, and it is going to be a major transformation. A hybrid model will reportedly come for the first time. Apart from fresh appearances, the inside will also undergo a total transformation. Hyundai intends to unveil it worldwide by 2027.

Hyundai Tucson Facelift

A refreshed Tucson is already available abroad, and India might see it soon. The facelift brings a new grille, updated lighting, and new alloy wheels. Inside, there’s a curved display and redesigned dashboard. If launched, it will boost Hyundai’s premium SUV lineup in India.

Hyundai Inster EV

Hyundai is developing a small EV specifically for India. Drawn from the international Inster EV, it should be less than four metres in length. Launch may be done around 2026. It will compete against the likes of Tata Punch EV, offering consumers a budget-friendly and pragmatic electric SUV.

Hyundai Ioniq 9

The Ioniq 9 is a full-size electric SUV based on Hyundai’s E-GMP platform. It was revealed globally earlier this year. If launched in India, it will be imported as a fully built unit and offer premium features for electric car buyers looking for a large SUV.
