Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 Update: To maintain transparency in the Bihar assembly elections, the Election Commission is doing a special intensive revision of the voter list. A fresh update has come out in the special intensive revision. According to the Election Commission, so far, more than 35 lakh names have been found wrong in the voter list in Bihar.
Meaning all these names have been removed. Among these, a large population has been found who have been found dead. Apart from this,many such voters havee become migrants, that is, they have settled separately. It has been decided to remove the names of all such people from the voters’ list. This makes it clear that all these voters will not be able to vote in the upcoming assembly elections. The Election Commission has launched a campaign across the state to identify fake voters, the effect of which is also being seen.
How many voters have been found valid so far?
During this, it was revealed that out of a total of 7.89 crore voters, only about 6.60 crore eligible voters were found valid. This makes it clear that the voters who were illegallyaddedg to the list have been shown the way out. The names of these people will not be included in the final publication of the voter list.
According to the Election Commission report, 1.59% voters have been found dead. While 2.2% voters have become permanent residents outside the state. 0.73% people have been found registered at more than one place. After adding these three categories, this figure has reached above 35 lakhs. Now the names of all these have been removed. The Election Commission is rapidly doing the work of a special intensive revision of the voter list.
So many voters did not fill out the form.
According to the Election Commission report, only 11per centt of the voters in the whole of Bihar were found not to have filled the form. Out of 7,89,69,844 voters, 6,60,67,208, i.e. 83.66% names have been kept in the draft votes list.
There are still 11 days left for the enumeration form. The campaign of the Election Commission is going on rapidly. You can fill out the form and submit it on time. So far, more than 5.74 crore forms have been received online. These have been uploaded. Nomination forms have been delivered to the homes of 88.18 per cent of registered voters.
