Assembly elections are to be held in Bihar in a few months, due to which the Election Commission is working vigorously on the voter list. At the same time, very surprising things have come to the fore in this work of the commission, due to which important documents like Aadhaar and ration cards have been found with foreign people. Giventhis, the Election Commission has taken a big step. Questions are being raised again due to the documents being found with Nepalese and Bangladeshi people in the country.

The Supreme Court has suggested that the Election Commission use the Aadhaar card for the Special Intensive Review (SIR) process. It is being reported in the news that the Election Commission is currently conducting the SIR process in the state of Bihar, under which Booth Level Officers (BLO) have found Aadhaar cards, residence certificates and ration cards in large numbers from Nepal, Bangladesh and Myanmar by going door to door.

SIR process will be done all over the country

In the coming few months, there are elections in Bihar, due to which the SIR process is being done in this state. So, after the complete investigation, the names of illegal immigrants will not be included in the final voter list to be published on September 30. The Election Commission will conduct a special, intensive revision of the voter list across the country. So that the birthplace of illegal immigrants from abroad can be checked, and they can be removed from the voter list.

Bihar state assembly elections are to be held at the end of 2025. According to the media report, aftera  proper investigation is conducted from August 1 to August 30, if found correct, then such names will not be included in the final list to be published on September 30, 2025.

The Election Commission has informed that till July 12, 80.11 per cent of voters in Bihar have submitted their forms, due to which the Commission is now moving forward to submit the counting form before the deadline of July 25. So in this, along with 77,895 BLOs20,603 new03 BLOs are working. Let us inform you that to get their name included in the draft voter list to be published on August 1, voters will have to submit their EFS along with the eligibility documents.
