Mahindra XUV400 EV: If you were thinking of making the switch to an electric vehicle, this might be the ideal time to purchase. A significant price reduction on a best-selling EV has caught buyers off guard and put it back in the headlines.
Mahindra XUV400 overview
Mahindra is providing an unprecedented discount on its electric SUV XUV400 in July. The EL Pro version of this vehicle, launched in 2023, is being offered with an up to ₹2.50 lakh cash discount. This car typically begins at ₹16.74 lakh (ex-showroom). As the sales figures have been weak, Mahindra is now clearing stock by providing such a substantial discount to entice buyers.
XUV400 Features
The XUV400 is now offered in two new variants – EC Pro and EL Pro. Both of these variants offer an upgraded interior, more features, and improved tech. The dashboard has a dual-tone look now and comes with a piano black insert in the middle on the passenger side. It also boasts a contemporary climate control panel similar to the Mahindra Scorpio N and XUV700.
Battery and Range Options
Mahindra has two battery variants with this SUV. The 34.5kWh battery pack provides a range of up to 375 km, and the larger 39.4kWh battery pack provides a longer range of 456 km on full charge.
Interior Improvements
The cabin itself is now equipped with upscale amenities. It features a big 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital driver display. New rear AC vents, a Type-C USB charger for passengers at the rear, and a new central AC vent are other comfort contributions to passengers.
Premium Additions
Mahindra has introduced various premium features in the new version. The vehicle now gets a panoramic sunroof for the first time. Some other handy features are wireless charging of phone, push-button start/stop, and a height-adjustable driver seat.
