Maruti Ciaz Discount: Maruti Suzuki had discontinued the Ciaz sedan in April 2025. Even after three months, the old stock hasn’t been cleared from the dealers. It is unexpected for a vehicle which had a constant place in the market. For increased sales and clearance of the pending units, the company is now giving a discount.
Maruti Offering ₹40000 Discount to Clear Stock
In order to entice customers, Maruti is offering up to ₹40000 discount on the Ciaz. All variants are being offered a cash discount of ₹30000. On top of that, an exchange bonus of ₹30000 can also be availed. In comparison with June, the overall discount has now been raised by ₹10000. The base ex-showroom price of the vehicle is ₹9.41 lakh.
Feature Highlights of the Maruti Ciaz
Maruti had refreshed the Ciaz sedan with few design and safety upgrades prior to its discontinuation. Three dual-tone shades were added to the car by the company in February 2024. These are:
- Pearl Metallic Opulent Red with Black Roof
- Pearl Metallic Grandeur Grey with Black Roof
- Dignity Brown with Black Roof
- The sedan came with both manual and automatic transmission modes.
Powertrain and Mileage Remain the Same
Maruti did not update the engine in its new Ciaz models. The sedan still uses the 1.5-litre petrol engine with 103bhp power and 138Nm torque. It came with a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque converter automatic. The fuel efficiency is claimed at 20.65 km/l for manual and 20.04 km/l for the automatic model.
Packed with Safety Features
The Ciaz sedan has over 20 safety features. Maruti has equipped the vehicle with electronic stability program (ESP) and hill-hold assist as standard equipment in all versions. Other important safety features are dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat anchoring points, ABS with EBD, and so on. The company says the new model provides enhanced passenger protection.
