Display and Battery

Z Fold 6 comes with a 7.6-inch LTPO AMOLED display with peak brightness of 2600 nits and 374 ppi density. It is covered with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and has a 120Hz refresh rate. In contrast, Z Fold 7 increases the screen size to 8.2 inches with HDR10+ and enhanced clarity due to its 407 ppi density. Both accommodate foldable, dual display configurations and retain the 120Hz refresh rate. The battery configuration remains unchanged 4400mAh capacity with 25W fast charging, 15W wireless, and reverse charging support.

Fold 6 boasts a three-camera setup in the rear 50MP primary, a 12MP ultra-wide, and a 10MP telephoto, each of which supports OIS. Fold 7 takes it up a notch with a humongous 200MP primary sensor, retaining the 12MP and 10MP sensors. Each of them records 8K videos at 30fps and features dual front cameras: 10MP + 4MP. Fold 7’s upgrade proves beneficial to photography enthusiasts, particularly regarding details and low-light images.

Price of the Device

Fold 6 can now be grabbed from as low as ₹1,25,799 on Amazon, while official Flipkart and Samsung listings maintain it at ₹1,49,999. Fold 7 will come priced at ₹1,69,990, which is much higher than this. The price increase might be worth it for premium seekers, but for others, it’s questionable whether the extra really does anything.

Bank Offers

You may avail maximum ₹1,500 discount on specific credit and debit cards for Fold 6 purchases. The launch offers on Fold 7 have not been announced yet, but early bird discounts or special card offers may come in after the 9th July launch.
