Online LPG-Aadhaar Linking Process

Linking your LPG connection to Aadhaar online is extremely easy and takes just a few minutes:

  1. First, visit the official website of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI).
  2. On the website, select ‘LPG’ from the “Benefit Type” options.
  3. Now, choose your specific gas provider (e.g. ‘IOCL’ for Indane, ‘BPCL’ for Bharat Gas, or ‘HPCL’ for HP Gas) from the scheme list.
  4. Select your local distributor and enter your LPG Consumer Number.
  5. Carefully enter your mobile number, email address, and Aadhaar details.
  6. Submit all the details and wait for the One-Time Password (OTP) to be received on mobile and email.
  7. Enter the OTP received on your mobile and email.

Wait for confirmation after official verification. The verification process is usually completed in a short time. After successful linking, you will receive confirmation messages via email and SMS to your registered contact.

Offline submission

If you face any problem with the online process or do not like it, you can also do it offline:

  • Visit your nearest LPG distributor’s office.
  • There you will have to provide a copy of your Aadhaar card and details of your LPG connection.
  • In this way also, you can easily link your LPG connection to your Aadhaar and avail of government subsidies.

You can also complete this process by contacting the customer care center of your LPG distributor:

  • Contact the call center of your LPG distributor.
  • Follow the instructions of the operator and complete the linking process.
