During this time, Antyodaya card holders will get 35 kg free ration (14 kg wheat and 21 kg rice) along with 3 kg sugar for three months.

In UP, 1.15 crore ration card holders are getting direct benefits. To bring transparency in ration distribution, e-KYC and Aadhaar verification system has been implemented. Under this, ration card holders are now getting the facility of getting e-KYC done at any fair price shop in the country. The use of e-POS machines in ration distribution has taken transparency to new heights. Through these machines, distribution of food grains is reaching the beneficiaries directly, which has effectively curbed middlemen and corruption.

This technological innovation is not only ensuring timely ration availability but also strengthening food security for the poor. The Yogi government aims to complete e-KYC of 100% beneficiaries soon, so that the distribution system can be further strengthened.
