Vande Bharat Sleeper Train: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has flagged off another Vande Bharat Express. This saffron-coloured Vande Bharat train will offer numerous facilities for the convenience of its passengers. Please note that this train operates between Patna and Gorakhpur. Nowadays, most people prefer to travel by the Vande Bharat train. This is because passengers can cover long distances in a very short time by the Vande Bharat train.

Many facilities are also available in the Vande Bharat train. Indian Railways is now fully prepared to include the latest Vande Bharat Sleeper train in its premium fleet. In the current financial year, the government has set a target of running 30 Vande Bharat Sleeper trains.

According to railway officials, the speed trial of the first Vande Bharat Sleeper train has been completed. The Railway Board is deciding the route and fare of the first Vande Bharat Sleeper train. The official stated that a total of 30 Vande Bharat sleeper trains will commence operations in the current financial year, 2025-26. Out of these, 10 Vande Bharat sleeper trains are ready at the government’s public sector undertaking (PSU) Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) in Bengaluru. After the first train gets the green signal, other trains will also be put on the tracks in a phased manner. He said that eight to 10 Vande Bharat trains are being manufactured at the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai. BEML and ICF are jointly manufacturing the coaches of the said train.

From Delhi to Howrah in 15 hours

One of the first routes where this sleeper service will operate is from New Delhi to Howrah. This train, covering a distance of 1,449 kilometres, will complete the journey in under 15 hours. According to a report, it will reach a maximum speed of 160 km/h.
