New Delhi: Amidst the rising prices of petrol, diesel and CNG, now everyone’s eyes are on electric vehicles. Auto companies are also recognising the sentiments of the people and are now focusing on electric cars. Maruti Suzuki, one of India’s largest automotive companies, is preparing to launch a new electric SUV soon.
Maruti Suzuki’s powerful car will be the e-Vitara. This car is expected to receive a positive response from the public. A major announcement is expected to be made upon its launch in the coming days. The features of this car are also going to be very impressive, which will win the hearts of customers. However, the company has not yet announced an official launch date.
What will be the features of Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara?
The features of the Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara are expected to be impressive. A large touchscreen infotainment display, along with six airbags, enhances the SUV’s safety. Additional features, such as a 360-degree surround view camera system, front ventilated seats, and a panoramic sunroof, can also be added to the vehicle.
The SUV will include 18-inch alloy wheels. It will also be equipped with Level 2 ADAS. With these features, the e-Vitara will not only be technologically advanced but will also be seen to meet customer expectations in terms of safety and comfort fully.
What will be the range?
The range of the Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara is going to be tremendous. It is likely to be offered in two different battery pack options. The first option will feature a 48.8 kWh battery pack, and the second, larger variant will have a 61.1 kWh battery.
According to the company, the e-Vitara is likely to have a driving range of more than 500 kilometres on a single full charge. Rapid charging support will also be provided in the vehicle. With this, the SUV can be charged from 0 to 80 per cent in just 50 minutes. Its design is also expected to be amazing.
Which vehicles will it compete with?
Following its launch in the Indian market, the Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara is poised to directly compete with the Hyundai Creta EV and the Tata Harrier EV. All of these can compete in the mid-size electric SUV segment.
