A shocking decision has beenmaden for people using Paytm, Google Pay and Phone Pay. Such numbers have been blocked for UPI transactions, which were suspicious for a long time. Their behaviour itself was raising suspicion. There were complaints of frequent device changes, wrong KYC, or connection with a fake QR code.

The aim of this government decision is only to save the user from the fraud trap. The government is taking severe steps to stop fraud. UPI fraud is spreading rapidly across the country. These include fake QR codes, fake UPI handles, etc. Therefore, this new system is necessary too. Fraud happens quickly; you can learn the new system quickly.

Do you know that according to the new system, fraud-risky numbers have been divided category-wise. Some mobile numbers will be put in the Medium, High or Very High category based on fraud risk. UPI transactions on such numbers can be stopped or limited.

Know which numbers will be affected.

For information, let us tell you that if there are continuous complaints of fraud from a mobile number, or that number is repeatedly seen being used in a new phone or SIM, then the new system can consider such a number as suspicious. UPI transactions can be blocked on those numbers against which cyber crime complaints have been registered, wrong KYC details have been given, and and OTP/UPI PIN has failed repeatedly.
