As soon as the name of Royal Enfield comes, a picture of a powerful bike comes to mind – heavy sound, stylish look and great riding experience. The company is now constantly bringing something new for the new generation youth. Recently, Royal Enfield’s Guerrilla 450 is in a lot of discussion. This bike is built on the platform of Himalayan 450, but its look and style is completely new and urban feel. In this blog, we will give you a complete review of Guerrilla 450
1. Design and Look
The look of Guerrilla 450 is quite modern and minimalist. Its fuel tank is small but muscular, which gives the bike a retro style. Single piece seat and upswept exhaust further enhance its road presence. The round LED headlamp in front and wide tires give it a look like an urban street bike. This bike looks like a great combination of classic and sporty design.
2. Engine and performance
The Guerrilla 450 gets the same 452cc single-cylinder liquid cooled engine that is also in the Himalayan 450. This engine generates power of about 40 bhp and torque of 40 Nm. The engine is refined and smooth, which is easy to drive in the city and this bike does not disappoint in terms of speed on the highway. Its performance becomes even better with a 6-speed gearbox.
3. Riding experience and handling
The seating position of this bike is a bit irregular – neither too sporty nor completely cruiser-like. The rider gets a comfortable position, which does not cause fatigue on long journeys. The suspension setup of the Guerrilla 450 is quite good, especially for city riding. The bike has USD front forks and a monoshock at the rear, which absorbs potholes well.
4. Features and Technology
It gets the same Tripper TFT instrument cluster as the Himalayan 450, which has features like Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and call/message alerts. It also gets safety features like USB charging port, LED lighting and dual channel ABS.
5. Mileage and Fuel Efficiency
The mileage of Guerrilla 450 is said to be around 28–30 kmpl, which can be considered good for a bike with a 450cc engine. Mileage may vary slightly on city and highway, but considering the performance, it is satisfactory.
6. Price and Launch Details
Although the company has not launched it yet, but according to reports, the price of Guerrilla 450 can be around ₹ 2.60 lakh to ₹ 2.80 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. This bike can be launched by mid-2025. It will compete directly with bikes like Honda CB350, Jawa 42 Bobber and Yezdi Roadster.
Final Verdict (Is it worth buying?)
If you want something new, stylish and light while maintaining the identity of Royal Enfield, then Guerrilla 450 can prove to be a great option for you. It has everything – powerful engine, stylish look and smart features. This bike seems easier to drive especially in cities than Himalayan.
