Subsidy: There is good news for landless agricultural laborers. The Rajasthan government has taken a major initiative to improve the economic condition of landless agricultural laborers. To increase the efficiency of landless agricultural laborers, a subsidy of Rs 5,000 will be given on agricultural machinery and equipment.
According to the Rajasthan Agriculture Department, under the budget announcement, a subsidy of Rs 5,000 will be given on agricultural machinery and equipment to increase the efficiency of landless agricultural laborers. Agricultural laborers who do not have agricultural land in their name will be considered eligible for the scheme. The mobile number and bank account of the landless agricultural laborer must be linked to Jan Aadhaar.
A committee will be formed under the chairmanship of Sarpanch for the selection of beneficiaries at each Gram Panchayat level. In which Agriculture Supervisor will be the member Sachin and BDO and Patwari will be the members. Gram Panchayat wise targets will be allocated in the district. Selection of agricultural labourers will be done as per the target as per the rules. For this, only one application will be accepted from Jan Aadhar. The committee will select the list of landless agricultural labourers on priority basis, firstly women agricultural labourers, SC, ST, BPL and other agricultural labourers.
To avail the benefits of the scheme as per the priority of the agricultural workers selected by the committee, the interested beneficiaries will have to apply with the Jan Aadhar number on the Raj Kisan Sathi mobile app created for this scheme by the agricultural supervisors. After administrative approval, the equipment will have to be purchased from registered firms. Agricultural equipment will have to be purchased within 45 days of approval. After this, physical verification will be done by the Assistant Agriculture Officer and Agricultural Supervisor. After this, a grant of Rs 5000 can be deposited online in the account of the agricultural worker.
