This vehicle is an upgraded version of the already existing Windsor, which now has more modern features. Booking of MG Windsor Pro has now started. The best thing is that those who buy it in the beginning, i.e. the first 8,000 customers, will get this car at a special introductory price.
Price and battery options
The starting price of this vehicle has been kept at ₹ 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom). But if a customer chooses the “Battery as a Service” (BaaS) option, then they can get this vehicle for just ₹ 12.49 lakh. With this, the customer will have to pay a battery rent fee of ₹ 4.5 per kilometer. This scheme is quite attractive and makes MG different from other EV companies.
Design changes and new color options
Windsor Pro has been brought in some new colors – Celadon Blue, Glaze Red and Aurora Silver. Apart from this, it has newly designed alloy wheels and ADAS badge at the rear, which makes it look different from the ordinary Windsor.
New technology and long range
This version now has the facility of Level-2 ADAS, which makes the car safer. Also, V2L (vehicle to load) and V2V (vehicle to vehicle) features have been added to it, which makes it more smart. Its battery is now 52.9 kWh, so that once fully charged, this car can run up to 449 km.
Great changes in the interior
There is a lot of new inside the car as well. The most special is its dual-tone theme of black and ivory. The upholstery of the seats is now in ivory color, which looks premium but can get dirty a little quickly. It has many comfortable features like ventilated front seats, rear seats that recline up to 135 degrees, electric tailgate and 2,700mm wheelbase.
