Renault has shown seriousness about its electrified lineup in India. The company’s CEO and MD, Venkatram, recently said that Renault is considering bringing hybrid technology to India. Apart from this, the company is also working on range extender or series-hybrid technology, in which its partner Nissan has a lot of experience.

Duster Hybrid Power

First of all, talking about power, the Duster Hybrid available in Europe comes with a 1.6L petrol engine, which produces 92 horsepower and 148 Nm of torque. It also has an electric motor, which gives 47 horsepower and 205 Nm of torque. Its combined output is 139 horsepower, which helps it complete the 0-100 km/h sprint in just 10.1 seconds.

Duster Hybrid Mileage

Talking about its mileage, the fuel efficiency of Duster Hybrid is up to 20 km/l according to the WLTP cycle. However, this figure may vary slightly in Indian driving conditions, but it will still prove to be an economical option.

Bigster Hybrid Power

Now talking about the power of Bigster Hybrid, it comes with a 1.8L petrol engine, which produces 107 horsepower and 172 Nm of torque. It also has the same 47 horsepower electric motor, but the battery pack is slightly larger (1.4 kWh).

Its combined output is 154 horsepower, which takes it from 0-100 km/h in just 9.7 seconds. In terms of fuel efficiency, it is also better than Duster Hybrid, which has a WLTP rating of 21.7 km/l.
