Ladli Behna Yojana: Good news has come for the beneficiaries of Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana, one of the most popular schemes of Madhya Pradesh. The month of April is going on. Now the sisters are eagerly waiting for the 23rd installment. Generally, the installment of the scheme is released on the 10th of every month. However, keeping in view the festivals, the installment is released even before the fixed date.
Installment can be released on this day
It is expected that in view of Navratri, Mohan Sarkar can transfer the 23rd installment before the scheduled time. This is because Durgashtami is on 5th April and Ramnavami is on 6th April. However, no official announcement has been made by the government yet. Earlier last year, the 11th installment was transferred on April 5 in view of Gudi Padwa. If the installment is not released on the occasion of Navratri, then the sisters will have to wait till April 10.
Child Development Minister
During the assembly budget session, a question was raised by Congress MLA Pratap Grewal whether the government will start registration again. Along with this, he had asked to fulfill the promise of giving an amount of Rs 3 thousand. Responding to this, Women and Child Development Minister Nirmala Bhuria had said that at present there is no proposal at the departmental level to increase the amount of Ladli Behna Yojana and to add the names of new Ladli sisters. At the same time, only 35 women have been disqualified in the Ladli Behna Yojana. Also, a total of 15 thousand 735 women have died since the scheme was started. After November 2023, not a single woman’s name has been added to the Ladli Behna Yojana.
