IMD Heavy Rain: Temperatures have increased significantly in most parts of India, so the heat makes people sweat. Temperatures are still much lower than usual in the hilly areas of North India, as light snowfall continues. The weather has become pleasant due to rain in some parts of South India.

The heat has intensified due to the increase in temperature in the country’s capital, Delhi, and surrounding areas. Western disturbances may cause rain in Punjab, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh, bringing cooler temperatures. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, a warning has been issued for heavy rains with thunder and lightning in all the states of India.

Heavy rain alert in these parts

According to the Meteorological Department, a warning for rain in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu, and Ladakh was issued on March 27. Apart from this, heavy rains can also be seen in Uttarakhand and Punjab between March 28. The situation in the northeastern states is also not going to be good.

Heavy rains are expected in Northeast India’s Arunachal Pradesh on 28 and 29 March. Rain activities are expected to continue in Kerala and Karnataka of South India on March 27, leading to a temperature drop.

Western disturbance will remain active in these areas.

According to the Meteorological Department, the Western Disturbance has become active. Its effect can be seen in the western Himalayan regions rather than the lower level. A warning has been issued for snowfall in the upper areas of Jammu and Kashmir and heavy rains in the lower parts. Hailstorms are also expected to continue in Himachal Pradesh till evening. Rains can be seen in Jammu and Kashmir, North Punjab.

How will the weather be here?

The IMD said the heat level may continue in North India, Central India and Odisha. The temperature here is expected to remain above normal. Temperatures are also expected to increase rapidly in Delhi and its surrounding areas. Due to a western disturbance, a warning has been issued of light cold winds blowing in Delhi-NCR from March 27 to March 29.
