CM gave information.
Tripura CM Manik Sah gave information about a significant gift at the assembly. He said I would release 3 per cent DA for government employees and pensioners on April 1, 2025. Now, the DA of state employees will go from 30 to 33 per cent directly. The government must bear an additional burden of Rs 300 crore annually for this.
The CM further informed that the government wants to reduce the difference in DA between state and central employees. This work has to be done gradually. Earlier, states like Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, and Jharkhand announced increased allowances for their government employees. This will lead to a rise in the salary of the employees.
Central employees are still waiting.
Central employees and pensioners are still waiting for the DA hike. Now, any Modi government can approve the DA of central employees. It is speculated that the government can announce the DA hike by this financial year, i.e.March 31, 20255, which will be like the government increasing the deferred year.
